Stab Recordings talk Tech-House and Germans

The Belgian music scene is packed with noteworthy and often internationally acclaimed music labels. Each year Forest Festival invites six of these to host an area with their hottest or upcoming artists. This year, together with Fuzz Magazine, we sat down with each label owner to hear their story.

This time: Frederick Alonso & Jeks, owners of Stab Recordings.

Stab Recordings is a local label, hailing from the city of Aalst, with a strong German connection. The label got started as a Belgian-German collaboration, but unfortunately Mikael Anderson, one of the founders passed away which made the label fully Belgian. Yet to this day Stab Recordings keeps a strong link with its brothers across the border. On the line up among others Alex Flatner from München and Muovo & Martin Crusoe from Solingen. The owners from Stab Recordings have been close friends of Forest Festival for years. As they continue to grow and foster alongside the festival, we are very proud to have them host our Forest stage on Saturday the 3rd of August.
