Next summer we will be coming hard with a brand spanking new edition of your beloved festival. The new date is 3&4 august.
After too many years of bad weather we decided to change things up a little and go for the first week of august. And be reassured, the weather will be awesome. We have confirmation from weatherman Frank Deboosere. (It’s true)

That being said, the other reason this year will be phenomenal is because we are celebrating our 10th anniversary! Expect a mad line up, and probably some balloons!

Elektropedia Nomination

Forest Festival is nominated for the first annual Red Bull Elektropedia awards.
You’ll find us with nine other festivals in the Best Festival category. We were selected by a jury, but you can decide who wins. In our category we’re up against big dogs like Tomorrowland, Dour, 10 Days Off, etc. So we do need each and every one of your votes, plus a small miracle.

Day 1

Friday has been a blast. Every area has had it’s moments of glory, all DJ’s gave their best, and you people have been amazing. And very kind and friendly we must say. Only a few minor incidents with security, nothing much more than words. Our First Aid people also reported nothing worse than a bad insect bite.
One person had some belongings stolen on the camping though. In comparison to last year that is a major improvement but for this girl it still sucks balls. If anyone saw something please tell us.

As for tonight we continue the madness with heavy line up’s from What’s Cooking, Retro Acid, Conform & Radio Modern. So put on your dancing shoes and come over. The weather hasn’t decided on rain or sunshine but all will be fine. At this moment the sun is shining full on.

Just Started!

Two hours ago baselines started rolling as visitors come strolling in. For those out there wondering, it is not raining here, in fact, we haven’t had much rain today at all. Nevertheless the ground is pretty moist but we paved most parts with floors, so your sneakers will stay clean like puppies.

Tents are popping up on the camp site like mushrooms and the party is growing as we speak. People look happy and so are we. So if you’re in for some solid partying, come over and join us!

Yes, yes, only twenty-seven more hours to go and the party kicks off!

DJ Majix

Dj Majix is a young Brussels dj who started mixing in 2007.
With his addiction to bass, he started experimenting with different genres
en tries to convey that same experience on to his crowds.
He likes to combine the varieties of dubstep like grime, 2-step, garage with some more deepness.
He includes “forgotten classics” with newly released and unreleased tunes in his mixes.

He evolved from small home parties to a Brussels festival (where he’s been chosen by the audience as the winner of the ‘Bruksellive festival dj contest’), the Stainage party, Rotation Dubstep and many more

Alcohol Restrictions

We would like to make it clear in advance that the current alcohol laws will be applied strictly:
No alcohol to -16 year olds.
No strong alcohol to -18 year olds.

And of course it goes without say that any illegal drugs are not allowed on the premisses.
We are working closely together with the local authorities, fire department, red cross and a private security firm to assure the safety of all our visitors.
